On Wednesday, February 1, 2012 Brayden's Mission call came in the mail. Brayden was still attending college at SUU so it sat on the counter un-opened for 2 days. It was very tempting to open it, but it remained sealed. On Friday February 3, 2012, Brayden came home for the weekend. We invited our families to come over while Brayden opened his call. We also Skyped with my mom and dad because they were still in Russia. It was a very exciting time.
We had each of the family member choose one state side mission guess and one over-seas mission guess. Here is Brayden his placing his pin on the map.

Dear Elder Mortensen:
You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the North Carolina Raleigh Mission.
You should report to the Provo Missionary Training Center on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. You will prepare to preach the gospel in the English language.

What an exciting time! We are all so excited for Brayden. Brayden's cousin Jacob chose Raleigh North Carolina as his guess! Way to go Jacob!
