Transfer Day
Imagine our surprise when we saw this picture of Brayden and Brooke (a friend from our ward) pop up on face book. This picture was taken on transfer day. All of the missionaries who are transferring gather together in Raleigh at the Stake Center where President Bernheisel talks to them and then gives them their assignments. Brayden was getting transferred to a new area (Lumberton) and Brooke was just arriving from the MTC and so they were able to meet. Thanks to Paul McAlister for giving us a glimpse of our missionaries. The McAlisters lived in a ward until a couple of years ago. He now lives in Fayetteville, North Carolina and occasionally gets to help with transfers. He said that "he knew they might be there and took the opportunity when it presented itself." He also said "they both look great and seem so happy."
