Dear family and friends,
How is everything back home? Everything here in Hope Mills is doing great!
This week has been a really good one. We have seen a lot of good progress in
working with the active members of our ward. We have been spending a good amount
of time helping them do their missionary work. We have found a lot of joy being
with members who have such great testimonies. We have not had any new
investigators come out of this effort yet, but we are confident that we will
find many elect people by working with the members. When we go into a members
home we ask them about missionary experiences that they have recently had. We
usually teach a lesson from Preach My Gospel and the Book of Mormon about
missionary work. After all of that we do role play's in order to help them
practice what they learned. It is a real fun experience to see a family
encourage their other family members in their missionary work.
Our investigators are doing well. Sister V-- is still progressing well.
We have been teaching her in other members homes pretty frequently. She is still
reading the Book of Mormon a lot and is enjoying it still. She has made some
pretty good friends at church and really enjoys coming to church every week. We
have about 10 investigators we are teaching right now. B-- is one of them.
He is 12 years old and is doing pretty well. He recently moved to another part
of town. Another investigator we are really excited about is I--. She is
a really hyper person and really loves Jesus Christ. Every lesson we have with
her she tells us how excited she is to learn more. She has not come to church
yet so we are working on finding her a good friend at the church so she will
feel more comfortable coming.
Our zone is doing really well! We had 4 baptism's this past week and they
are all working really hard. Elder Green and I are going to a meeting in Raleigh
on the 30th and after that, all of the missionaries in our mission will be
getting on the computer 1 hour every day. We are not sure yet if it will be on
Facebook or not. Our mission probably wont be getting I pads anytime soon
though. Other than that we don't really know of any more changes that will be
happening as a result of the broadcast.
