There Is A Noticeable Difference To Her Countenance.

This week was a wonderful week. Aye Meh's baptism was great! We were a little worried because Aye Meh doesn't speak English and we could not find a translator for the baptism. We knew the service would be a lot more meaningful to her and her family if they could actually understand what was going on. We got there a few hours early to start setting up and we still did not have a translator. One of the young women named Nang Shi Oo ended up coming to the service and did the translation. It was a great service and the spirit was very strong. Aye Meh was so happy. There is a noticeable difference to her countenance. It was great to see that change in her! Her husband did come so that was also a great thing. I had the opportunity to do the confirmation the next day which was a very unique experience. We had Hehen Lay Pan translate the confirmation. I'd say something then pause while he would translate. It was a neat experience and I was very happy to be a part of it.

Earlier that day we did what is called a blitz. We went with all 8 Lumberton missionaries up to a small town called Bladenboro, which is a pretty long way away from Lumberton. We are trying to get the gospel to area's where missionaries hadn't really been. We had some good success and found a few new investigators. It is really neat to be serving in an area with so many missionaries.

The rest of our investigators are doing well. We are trying to help Sway prepare for baptism on the 29th. If he keeps coming to church and keeping his other commitments, that will likely happen. He is a great young man and is fun to teach. The first couple weeks of summer have been kind of crazy trying to teach everybody because they have been busier that usual. Michael and Snow are doing awesome! They asked us if they could help us clean the church. They are wonderful people and really want to be baptized.

The mission is being split if a few weeks. Most of the missionaries that I am good friends with are staying in the Raleigh mission! I am very excited to stay here

Happy Fathers day dad! You are a wonderful example for me and I have learned so much from your example and words of wisdom. Ill always be thankful for what you have taught me.
