Our Last Weekend Together

For the past 2 1/2 months we have been getting ready for Brayden's mission.  Because he was going to college at SUU, it made it a little tricky to get it all done, but we managed by doing it on the weekends he came home.  Brayden finished with his finals on Thursday, May 3rd so we had 5 days afterwards to get him ready to leave.  It was a little bit crazy trying to get all the last minute things taken care of...shopping, packing, last family outings, family pictures, etc. but we did it. 

Here is a little about our last weekend together.

On Saturday, May 5th we had family pictures bright and early in the morning. I wanted one more family picture before Brayden left on his mission. I think they turned out great.

Later that evening, we spent some time at Jump On It!  It is one of our families favorite places to go.  We all had a great time!

To end the night, the kids all decided to sleep together in the basement one last time.  Oh, the memories!

 

On Sunday, May 6th we drove to the Provo Temple and the Timpanogos Temple to spend some time as a family.  It was a really neat experience walking the temple grounds with our family.  The spirit was definitely strong that day.
